Coming very soon is the last show of the year with Award Winning songwriter John Kelly, who will be performing for us at the Simonholt Restaurant, Sunday Nov. 23rd, 7:30pm

John is being backed by a five piece band featuring John Kelly (voice and guitar), Emily Celeste (voice), Daryl Louis Marklinger (lead and acoustic guitars), Brent Jarvis (keys), Graham Shonwise (basses) and Hans Verhoeven (drums).

John's latest project had an auspicious beginning when one of his more pop-oriented compositions, "Shine", became a standout Award Winner at the Nashville Songwriters Association International. He also happens to be Professor Of Addiction Psychology at Harvard University.

A hugely gifted lyricist, John's melodies will find a place in your head and stay there! New to Nanaimo but not new to music, this show will be recorded by the venerable Ron Obvious for a live album, so bring your best applause and let us see out the year with an extraordinary show!
